Make Traditional Art!!!
It doesn't have to be good!
Crafting and Traditional art are going to save us from AI! I'm not saying you have to give up Digital Art, but if you're an artist worried about AI, traditional art is one of the best ways you can combat it and one of the best things you can do for yourself right now. There has never been a better time to grow your traditional art skills than now, because AI cannot mimic our physical creations.
I do not care how you do it, you can use a ballpoint pen on paper or a napkin, or maybe some old craft or art supplies you have at the back of your cupboard, or some crayons.
We sadly have to face the fact that we can't put AI back in the Box and discard it; it's here, and it's going to be a while until it goes away. Yeah, AI slop is here, but it's generally seen as cheap, tacky, morally gross/incorrect, and harming the environment.
It is making more people seek out authentic human-made art, and I love that so much!! We should be supporting artists and creatives.
As creative people, we are always growing and changing, and adapting, and this is no different.
This is something you can do to take control right now! Go out there and make something cool and weird and entirely your own! And don't stop creating and making things, keep going!! Don't be afraid to make things that are not perfect. It doesn't have to be perfect!!
I know the world is Dark and scary out there, and it's really hard to hold onto hope, but we need to be more creative than ever. It is a form of rebellion, and the only way they win is if you stop. So Don't! Don't let them take your passion, whimsy, weirdness, and creativity away!!
